Logistics

When: Friday, June 24th through Sunday, June 26th, 2011                      Where: Worcester State College, Worcester MA

All students attending RYLA must stay for the entire conference.
Most activities require working in a group and others will be counting on your full participation.

You will need to arrive at the conference on Friday between 9:30AM and 10:30AM. We will be starting promptly at 11AM and you’ll need time to Register, find your room and get with your group.  The conference will end with an awards reception on Sunday evening from 4:00 to 5:30PM, which family members are encouraged to attend.  Family and friends should plan on arriving at least 15 minutes early as we will be starting promptly at 4pm.

Costs

Your local Rotary Club has fully sponsored your tuition fee of $250 for the conference.  If you are unable to attend, you should let them know as soon as possible so that the RYLA Committee may designate an alternate to be given the opportunity to attend in your place.

Transportation

PARTICIPANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE A VEHICLE ON CAMPUS DURING THE CONFERENCE

Although many RYLA students choose to be driven to and from the conference by a family member, the Rotary Club that sponsored your attendance is prepared to assist with transportation if necessary.

Photos, Videos and Audio Notice

All parents and students should note that photographs, video and audio recordings may be taken at any time during the RYLA weekend by other participants in RYLA, as well as by Rotarians assisting in the weekend activities. While RYLA cannot control how images and recordings taken by others will be used, RYLA will not use any of the images or recordings for commercial purposes, but may use them to promote RYLA, Rotary International and/or the clubs sponsoring and participating in RYLA. Participation in RYLA and other Rotary events includes your consent to use, publish, and broadcast your name and likeness and material derived there from without compensation.
